Those with freelance talent might be interested to learn that consumer spending levels should make a full recovery in 2015. This is according to the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, which has projected that in the meantime, consumer price inflation will average three per cent this year and 2.7 per cent in 2011. Moreover, the group stated that gross domestic product will grow by 1.3 per cent in 2010, before expanding by 1.7 per cent and 2.2 per cent in the following two years. News of the findings may have caught the attention of freelance consultants and contractors who are eager to benefit from a rise in demand among purchasers for their products and services. Furthermore, the body suggested that the spike in VAT will ensure inflation stays above target until 2012. In order to attract discerning buyers, many contractors will increasingly capitalise on opportunities brought about by mobile marketing and other forms of promotions.
